Create your very own river resin board at Collective Obessions and wow someone with these stunning pieces!In this course, you will learn the basics of using river resin and all the aspects of deep pour epoxy, best practices for wood prep and finishing to achieve a beautiful gloss finish.
You will be working with marri wood for this project and you can choose to place whatever you like between the two pieces of wood. Bring your very own mini alcohol bottles, dried flowers, sea shells, perfume bottles, sports emblems, Star Wars figurines or even laminated photos. The choice is yours. Please note we have a range of dried flowers and sea shells you can use.
This course is done over three sessions. The first session includes choosing your pieces of wood and pouring your first layer of resin with your chosen inserts. This then needs to cure to secure the pieces before doing the next pour to cover your trinkets, bottles, etc. Once cured, you can then do your final pour. We will book you in for stage two during the first class.
Every step will be demonstrated, and we are here to help you at every stage so that by the end of the class, you can take home your unique resin board for your home.
