About this Event
Pauline Oliveros once wrote, "...Walk so silently that the bottoms of your feet become ears." How can we listen to absence? How can we listen to the memory of a place? How can we listen to layers of history that overlap -- all around us -- all of the time? Sarah Van Buren will lead us on a walk into Hudson's past, as we simultaneously encounter its present and possible future. We will spend time at the end to reflect and share our experiences.
Bio:Sarah Van Buren is a soundmaker, educator and raver based in Stottville, NY who facilitates communal rituals and investigates buried histories. Longtime lead curator of 24-HOUR DRONE, Sarah is a certified Deep Listening® facilitator.
