This will be a unique ceremony with an initiation into Blue Lotus and an altered connection within yourself and to others. It will be a heart-opening and deeply connecting ceremonial experience to nourish you for the rest of the winter.
First part of the ceremony will consist of an inner tea ceremony/journey with Blue Lotus followed by a deepening with a heart-opening tantric initiation/connection within oneself, to others and the group field. It will be heartopening/sensual but non sexual.
Blue Lotus has been used in ancient cultures all over the world in sacred rites, with a particularly strong connection to ancient Egypt, where you can see this flower portrayed in nearly every temple. The mystery surrounding this flower is enigmatic. It represents altered states of consciousness, possesses a wide range of medicinal properties, and is mildly psychoactive (more information on this will be shared in the ceremony).
We also know that Blue Lotus has historically been used in sensual practices/rites and is an aphrodisiac that blissfully heightens your senses. Tantric arts are also practices that have been used throughout our ancient history in different ways, revealing more of who we are, our capacity, and altering our consciousness. Practiced consciously, it functions as an antidote within our desensitized patriarchal societal structure, reclaiming parts of ourselves that have been forgotten and revealing the mystery of existing as both a soul and a human simultaneously.

𝗟𝗶𝘃 𝗟𝘂 has been working with Blue Lotus ceremonies for several years, deepening her connection to it while also gathering a broad range of experiences from those cermonial spaces. She has a background in yoga/dance and embodiment arts as well as energy therapy/coaching and healing/energetic activations. She is also a creative writer.
