Deep Banana Blackbelt was born in the Shaolin of Funk deep in the heart of the Connecticut jam scene. The fusion of two bands, Kung Fu and Deep Banana Blackout, blend their styles to form a music high with energy and intensity while simultaneously making it impossible not to get down to the funk.

Over the last couple of years, Jabbawaukee has staked their claim as one of the top jam / funk bands in Providence as well as New England. The quartet consists of bassist/ vocalist Brendon "Low B" Bjorness-Murano, guitarist & vocalist Dave Hobson, keyboardist & vocalist Jack Skiffington and drummer & vocalist Stu Taylor. The band just released their self produced debut full length LP "Family Tree" in late 2021 , followed by the release of the video for their first single, "Ting Pop (Time Flys By)" . Look for the release of their next single "Day Roll By", featuring Dan Moretti on saxophone (Chic, Robert Plant, Aretha Franklin, Dr. John, Chaka Khan) off of the album, which is on all major streaming platforms.
Jabbawaukee was nominated for Motif's "Best RI Jam Band" in 2018, 2019 and won it in 2023, and 2024, "Best Band" in the New London Area in 2019, in The Day, having their single "Moonlight" played in regular rotation on JEMP radio.
Park City Music Hall has a full bar and kitchen available on-site serving craft cocktails, delicious bites and more! Come hungry! The kitchen opens at doors and remains open until you see the "Kitchen Open" light go off.
