About this Event
What is your feminist story?
Many women can point to moments that shaped them long before they had language for feminism. A teacher who encouraged them. A rule that never seemed fair. A workplace double standard. A conversation that changed everything. A realization that there were different expectations, different consequences, and different paths available depending on who you were.
Many of us learned the rules before we learned the language.
In this engaging and thought-provoking evening, speaker, leadership strategist, and feminist educator Michelle Morkert, PhD invites participants to explore the experiences, relationships, and turning points that shaped their understanding of power, leadership, identity, and possibility.
Through storytelling, reflection, and conversation, we will connect the dots between our personal stories and the larger systems that influenced them. Together, we'll explore questions such as:
• What is your feminist story?
• When did you first realize there were different rules?
• What are you for?
• What strengths did you develop along the way?
This is not about trauma bonding or reliving old wounds. It is about recognizing patterns, reclaiming our narratives, and discovering the strengths we developed while navigating the world as women.
Participants will leave with greater clarity about their own story, deeper connection with other women, and a renewed appreciation for the superpowers they may not have recognized in themselves.
Because feminism is not only about understanding the playbook. It is about imagining what becomes possible once we do.
