Decoded Magazine presents Clive Henry at Sushisamba London September 26th

This September, we're putting our money where our mouth is with a proper night out at one of the Londons's most iconic venues with the legenday Clive Henry.
Sushisamba needs little introduction. Since opening its doors atop Heron Tower, this 38th-floor destination has redefined London's dining and nightlife landscape. Winner of multiple industry accolades including the prestigious Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, Sushisamba has been described by TimeOut as "one of London's most spectacular dining experiences" and earned consistent praise from The Evening Standard for its "unparalleled views and exceptional cuisine."
The venue's unique Nikkei concept – a fusion of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian influences – creates an atmosphere that's both globally inspired and distinctly London. Executive Chef Claudio Cardoso's menu has earned recognition from food critics across the capital, while the venue's carefully crafted cocktail program continues to set standards in the industry.
THE LINEUP
CLIVE HENRY
Here's the thing about Clive Henry – the man doesn't just play records, he tells stories. As one of the UK’s longest standing flag-wavers for underground house music having been an original member of the West London house mafia, one half of the genre-defining tech house outfit Peace Division and resident at the world’s most musically influential nightclub DC10.
The fact that he's agreed to dig deep into his record collection for an exclusive house classics set, that's not something you see every day. These aren't just any classics either – we're talking about the records that made sense of a night out, when underrhound house music still felt like a secret worth keeping. The tracks that remind you why you fell in love with this music in the first place.
BEN CAIN
When it comes to London’s electronic music scene, longevity is a rare currency. Trends come and go. Clubs open and close. Genres mutate beyond recognition. But some figures quietly shape the story across decades, not by chasing the spotlight, but by nurturing it from the shadows. Ben Cain is one of those figures.
A selector’s selector with deep roots in London’s sprawling underground, Ben’s journey is woven into the city’s musical DNA. For over 20 years, he’s been a trusted resident, dancefloor regular, promoter, mentor, and behind-the-scenes tastemaker. Whether commanding the booth at intimate basement sessions or working the fringes of grassroots culture, he’s remained uncompromising in his sound.
SIGGY SMALLS (LA DISCOTEQUE)
Starting her career interviewing artists at Sony HQ, Siggy quickly moved into hosting her own weekly show on MEATtransMISSION, playing the best in disco/nu disco and vocal house with guest DJ’s and producers.
Fast forward nine years, Siggy is now a two time Glastonbury performer and has DJ'd in Europe, Asia, Central and South America. She has a swathe of impressive gigs in her back pocket, including Burning Man (US), Hideout Festival (HR), Secret Garden Party (UK) and Pikes (ES). Closer to home, she finds herself a resident at leading party Disco Disco, which has seen her play at Elrow, Room 1 in fabric and Boogietown Festival, all alongside world class performers and DJs.
THE PARTNERSHIP
We're pleased to collaborate with Frangipani Clothing (frangipani-style.com) for this event. Like Decoded, Frangipani resonates with our community of music and lifestyle enthusiasts, along with music partners Yama Music, a pioneering collective at the forefront of the UK minimal house music scene.
This is what we do well at Decoded – finding the sweet spot between having a proper night out and not feeling like you need to explain yourself to anyone the next morning. From 9pm, join us for an evening that knows the difference between a party and an experience.
Here's what we're thinking – why not start with dinner with the Decoded team? Get your crew together, book a table, and make this into a proper evening out. Sushisamba's food is genuinely amazing (we wouldn't say it if it wasn't), and there's something to be said for starting the night with good conversation and better sake. Tables accommodate up to 10 people, so gather the usual suspects and book now.
Then, when the music starts and the lights dim, you're already here, already settled, already part of the story. That's how the best nights happen, they evolve rather than begin.
