Declan O`Connell, an Irish voice.Anyone who has heard Declan sing the songs of his homeland has heard a great deal of the islands history. Classics like „Whiskey in the jar“ and „The wild rover“ are of course part of his large repertoire, but one should listen especially to the many ballads in good old „Dubliner`s“ style which Declan presents to his audience with heart and soul.
Growing up in Co.Cork in the late 1960`s, he discovered his talent for music at an early age. Besides traditional Irish, Declan is also a big fan of American folk.
Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Simon and Garfunkel are just some of the artists he presents.
Declan is also a singer songwriter.
You can expect a wide variety of songs.
