Female Fraud Forum and Forvis Mazars present: “From Deception to Redemption: an interview with reformed fraudster, Alex Wood”.
Alex Wood is many things: a musical child prodigy, infamous imposter of the aristocracy (a Duke no less) - and perpetrator of a large scale banking fraud.
Please join the Female Fraud Forum and our host for this event, Mazars, for our next educational event. In this fascinating interview, Alex Wood will discuss how he went from her Majesty’s Places to her Majesty’s Prisons, and what led to a spiral of offending. He will touch on the impact social engineering had on his fraudulent schemes and, ultimately, how he turned his back on that lifestyle and what led him to the work he does now in prevention.
He will be interviewed by our own committee member, Diana Czugler, and the interview will be followed by drinks and nibbles.
Timings:
- Arrival and registration from at 6:30pm
- Interview with Alex Wood at 7pm
- Drinks and nibbles untill 10pm.
- Due to building access restrictions, please arrive before 7:30pm. If you arrive after 7:30pm, you will not be able to access the event.
