About this Event

December Sacred Feminine Collective Gathering

Each month we gather, inviting those who are calling in, wanting to learn about, and wanting to be in relationship with the sacred femine and with each other. This month, Yoga Therapist Jessa Buchalter will offer a session on "Befriending Your Nervous System."

Jessa notes, "Yoga therapy goes far beyond physical movement. By integrating breath, body, and awareness, it helps regulate the nervous system and promote healing on emotional, cognitive, and physiological levels. Evidence increasingly supports its role in reducing anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm, making it a valuable addition to both personal well-being and mental health care. In this session, we’ll use story, guided meditation, movement and breath to help you get to know your nervous system and to find the practices that work to bring your system back towards balance."

This time, we'll end with a potluck. Once you register, we'll check in to see if you are planning to stay for the potluck and we'll try to loosely coordinate the meal together.

Each month we gather in a reciprocity circle, where you are invited to join in the celebration and abundance of receiving. Each month one or more people offer up their gifts in some way, and those of us who join are invited to receive their offerings as a chance to both nourish ourselves and serve as fuel from which to go out and nourish our communities. Once you have joined a circle and received, you are invited to, but not required to, make an offering in a future circle. Offerings can be anything from sound healings, workshop facilitation, or a song to offering up samples of your products and services, or helping to support the logistics of the event planning.

That said, your presence in the group is offering enough. There is not requirement to make an offer, though if you want to offer further as a means of testing out new ideas, promoting your work, or sharing your gifts with others, you are welcome to!
