With Winter right around the corner, now is a good time to join us all for breakfast/lunch/drinks and RPGs at Manuel's Tavern! Come on by and maybe try out a game you've never played before! We get together in The Eagle's Nest of Manuel's Tavern (602 North Highland Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30307).We usually start to muster for games around 10:30. However, the doors open at 9:30, and many of us like to get there early to socialize, catch up, and grab a bite of tasty, tasty food to eat before we get started. Then we game until we wrap up, usually around 3:30 (give or take), however long it takes to play an individual session. If you're so inclined, please bring a game to run. When we muster for games, we like to offer folks multiple options.
And this month, we're also doing our yearly White Dragon Gift Exchange! If you're familiar with a White Elephant Gift Exchange, it's the same thing, except the gifts given and received are of a RPG, gaming, or otherwise nerdy bent. So if you've got something that you were given but never really cared for, or perhaps it just no longer sparks any joy for you, wrap it in gift paper and add it to the pile where some poor unsuspecting soul will randomly draw it. And who knows? One gamer's trash is another gamer's treasure; perhaps that game you no longer want is just what someone else always wanted to try, and just maybe you'll receive your new favorite game. We do the gift exchange early, and try to keep things moving briskly, so that we still have plenty of time to play.
As always, come healthy and ready to play. If you suffer from seasonal allergies, come healthy appearing through copious use of medication.
