Death Cafés are part of a global movement where people — often strangers — come together to talk openly about death. Originally held in cafés, these gatherings aim to bring conversations about death out of taboo and into a comfortable, relaxed environment.Join us for an open, informative, and often light-hearted discussion about our relationship with death — in our lives and within our community. Conversations are wide-ranging, thoughtful, and shaped simply by the questions and ideas we each bring.
There’s no set agenda — just a space to share thoughts, listen, and reflect on something that touches us all.
Our Death Cafés are always offered on a not-for-profit basis, in a friendly, respectful and confidential space, with no intention of leading participants toward any conclusion, product, or course of action.
Please note: This is not a grief support or counselling session.
Our shared objective is:
“To increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.”
Tea and coffee provided. Koha appreciated.
We warmly welcome you to join the conversation.
