What is a Death Café?A Death Café is a group-directed discussion about death with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It's simply a
space where people gather to eat cake, drink tea, and discuss death. The aim is to increase awareness of
death to help people make the most of their finite lives.
Death Cafés are not grief support groups, therapy sessions, or counselling services. They are casual,
respectful conversations where participants can share thoughts, questions, and experiences about mortality
in a safe environment.
