Death Café
Friday, November 1st, 5:30-7pm in the Greg McKendry Fellowship Hall.
Join others on this All Souls Day to take a few moments of your life to think about the end of it.
At a Death Cafe people gather to eat treats, drink tea and discuss death.
The objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.
A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.
TVUUC’s affiliated community minister Rev. Laura Bogle will help set the guidelines for conversation to support an accessible, respectful and confidential space.
