1932: Edward Bennett, a playwright, and his wife, Sorel Bennett, an actress, flee to a Cookham manor after a disastrous opening night of a show. Other wild and crazy guests arrive (a politician, a socialist, a "modern" dancer, and a nearsighted ingenue) with their own secrets to hide. When a guest ends up dead, Bridgit, the feisty Irish maid with too much interest in homicide, works on figuring out "whodunnit"!
Inspired by the works of Noël Coward and Agatha Christie.
