Welcome to "Dear Steve Hansen", where Steve and Avery invite some of their nearest and dearest comedian and actor friends to belt musical theater numbers in a cabaret style show that's secretly also...an audition! Steve and Avery are on spring break from college (suspend your disbelief pls) and are pulling off the ultimate audition after bumping into Ryan Murphy on vacation to be in his Next Big Project (literal Smash vibes??) Will Steve and Avery succeed in starring in his new show? Will they stay friends in college? And will Ryan still be hot and mysterious? Only time will tell...
HOST BIOS:
STEVE HAN is an actor and comedian who went to the University of Chicago and isn't using his biology degree at all! You can find him on a variety of TV shows on networks such as FOX, Showtime, FX, NBC, Amazon Freevee, and more. He's was an actor/writer in the 2022 CBS Showcase and still performs and teaches with the Second City in Chicago.
AVERY GIRION was born and raised in Los Angeles, and always had a knack for making people laugh. She studied TV Writing and Production at Chapman University where she co-founded the school’s first satire newspaper. Now, she writes television (Disney) and performs comedy nationally with her sketch trio Babe Motel.
