About this Event
This is not a book signing.
This is not a girls' night out.
This is not a lecture.
This is an experience.
On March 28th, a small group of people will gather at the Greensboro Cultural Center for something intentional, intimate, and unlike anything you've walked into before.
You'll write. You'll reflect. You might say something out loud you've never said to anyone. And you'll leave with something you didn't walk in with.
Here's what's happening in that room:
We're working through guided activities from Dear Future Bae, a new journal by Greensboro photographer and author Alexis Armstrong, built for people who are ready to understand themselves before they hand their heart to someone else.
Not dating tips. Not bitterness dressed up as wisdom. Real questions. Real reflection. Real community.
A confessional experience where your words become part of something bigger.
Pre-Order copies of the journal available for purchase. A raffle for those who came ready.
This was born from a real moment.
Alexis Armstrong is a mom of three daughters, a 2024 GROW Residency alumna at the Greensboro Cultural Center, and the first photographer to hold a residency in that space.
She wrote Dear Future Bae because when she sat down to think about what she'd really tell her girls about love... not the surface stuff, but the honest stuff... she realized most of the advice she'd been given came from people who were still healing from their own wounds.
So she wrote the book she wished she had.
This event is its first breath in community.
