DEAR Day stands for Drop Everything And Read Day, and is a celebration of reading and a reminder to families the importance of literacy. This day is celebrated every year on April 12th for author Beverly Cleary’s birthday. We encourage community members to join us in the PJs and to snuggle up in one of our two reading nooks!Join us for storytimes at 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm, with Space Theater shows in our one-of-a-kind theater, and activities throughout the day.
