Violinist Patrick Galvin and pianist Jennifer Hou honour the profound influence of Galvin’s former teacher, the legendary violinist Camilla Wicks, with the heartfelt program, ‘Dear Camilla,’.The performance features a spoken epistolary narrative woven amongst the music, and includes works by Sibelius, Chopin, Chausson, Pärt, Greenhill, Higdon and Beach. This project first emerged during the duo’s Masters degrees at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Galvin and Hou have continued to collaborate on “Dear Camilla,” as well as other programs together across North America and Australia. They will be touring in the UK in July 2026. “Dear Camilla,” was released as an album in August 2025 on the Navona record label.
