We will be working at Deangarden Wood. Please park in Evergreen Way, the nearest postcode is HP10 9GH. Free parking is available but please park considerately. We will meet you at the entrance to Deangarden Woods, the W3W are: https://what3words.com/spit.fame.secret
Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

The Task:
Our main task today will be clearing excess vegetation and maybe planting a few new native trees too. There will of course be litter pick and installing more bird boxes too.
Timings (please note these timings are approximate):
10.00: Arrival for safety briefing, please don't be late!
10.15: Work begins
11.30: Tea & coffee break
1.00: Work finishes, time to go home! Thank you!
What to bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain.
Please bring plenty of fluids. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
Access: Deangarden Woods is on a steep slope and may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.
Please note:
Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.
Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
