Following his sold‑out 40th Anniversary Tour, Friedman returns to Exmouth Pavilion for a special, intimate Café Bar performance, bringing audiences closer to the songs, stories and humour that have defined his four‑decade career. This relaxed, up‑close setting offers the perfect atmosphere to fully experience his insightful, true‑to‑life songwriting, rich in warmth, pathos and wit, exploring family, friends, work and the small moments that shape our everyday lives.

Alongside his recording and touring career, Friedman has composed and produced music for TV and film, including the hit series Boon, NBC’s Eerie, Indiana, Nickelodeon’s Nick Arcade, and the cult classic I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle. He is also the author of the acclaimed The Songwriter’s Handbook, developed from songwriting masterclasses delivered worldwide, including at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
A consummate entertainer, Friedman will perform solo on guitar and keyboard, blending beloved radio hits with fan favourites drawn from his eight studio albums — all delivered in an intimate setting that invites genuine connection between artist and audience.
