Stanley Records presents the return of legendary Sydney cowpunks, Deadwood 76.If you were in Sydney throughout the Noughties, it was impossible to escape the allure of Deadwood 76, the kings of Newtown’s Botany View Hotel. They were the best of times and well, the best of times! Sadly, they called it a day in the later part of the decade and have reformed only a handful of times since.
These will be their first shows in 8 years and possibly your last chance to see them ever.
Joining them on the bill is their old mates, Dave Favours & the Roadside Ashes, who’ll be showcasing their racous blend of indie rock meets twangy alt-country, and local rock dogs, The Escarpment (featuring members of The Pink Fits, Evol, Hytest, The Dead Set and Tumbleweed)
It’s an afternoon affair and kicks off at 1pm. Entry is free.
