Mother’s Day can be a tender or difficult day for many of us, and ASATTB and ASATTCI are here to hold space for whatever you’re feeling. Whether your mom has passed or this day is simply hard for any reason, join Emily on May 10 from 6:30 to 8:00pm for Dead Moms Club.
Volunteers will be offering “mom hugs” to anyone who wants one, plus quiet activities like journaling with prompts and reverse coloring.
At our Live Edge table, we’ll have a gentle space for conversation around grief and loss. Over at our couches, we’ll hold space for anger, frustration, and all the feelings that don’t always have a place to go.
In the final half hour, we invite you to share your stories in a safe and supportive Open Mic setting.
