De-Trash the Wabash is a biannual volunteer event focused on removing trash and restoring the health of the mighty Wabash River. Volunteers walk in parks and along trails near the river removing trash and other debris in order to improve water quality.Register for this year’s event which takes from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday Oct. 18 online: https://www.tippecanoe.in.gov/1029/Wabash-River-Clean-Up
De-Trash the Wabash is organized by the Tippecanoe County Partnership for Water Quality (TCPWQ) which includes Purdue University Wabash River Enhancement Corporation (WREC) Tippecanoe Solid Waste Management District and Wabash Riverkeeper Network.
