The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County is excited to offer Crisis Intervention Training April 25-28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This training will provide updated information to civilian professionals in Cuyahoga County on engaging and communicating with people in crisis.

The training will cover:

  • Review of Mental Illness & Substance Use Disorder
  • Situational Awareness and Safety
  • Overview of the Cuyahoga County Diversion Center
  • De-escalation Strategies
  • Legal Issues Concerning Mental Health
  • Scenario Based Activities

The training is free of charge.
