Experience the thrill as students showcase their mastery over electric vehicles and energy efficiency, navigating a lively track in their custom-built creations.
Gear up for an action-packed day filled with activities catering to all ages. Delve into the world of nearly 30 distinct vehicles from various DC government departments. Explore the machinery behind street cleaning, traffic management, waste disposal, snow removal, emergency services, and even mobile healthcare.
Brought to you by the DC Department of Public Works, this family-friendly event allows children to climb aboard and explore these massive machines, while adults get a rare opportunity to operate some of the equipment. Meanwhile, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation will roll out a series of engaging activities for everyone, including tennis, basketball, and fitness challenges. In collaboration with the DC Free Summer Meals Program, complimentary packed lunches will be available for attendees under 18.
