The Durham Center for Senior Life brings together civic leaders, corporate partners, philanthropists, and advocates who believe in strengthening the future of aging in Durham every year at our annual gala and silent auction. This year, we celebrate being Young at Heart.
Each day, the Durham Center for Senior Life serves more than 250 older adults at no cost to them—providing programs, essential services, and meaningful connections that combat isolation and promote healthy, independent living. Designated by the State of North Carolina as a Center of Excellence, DCSL remains a lifeline to the communities we serve.
Our mission is to enrich the lives of older adults 55+ by promoting healthy, active and independent lifestyles. We are driven by a vision of a community where older adults of all backgrounds can thrive.
Last year, our supporters showed up in a powerful way—raising critical funds, expanding awareness, and demonstrating what is possible when leadership and compassion align. This year, we build on that momentum. Take a look our last year's gala impact above.
