Doors open at 5:30 PM. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the 6:00 PM showtime. A panel discussion and an evening reception will follow the screening.
Film Synopsis
"THE FISH THIEF: A Great Lakes Mystery," narrated by Oscar-winning actor J.K. Simmons, tells the true story about an early 20th century battle for the survival of the largest freshwater ecosystem on Earth: The Great Lakes. The film follows remarkable people tackling the mystery of why the most prized fish nearly vanished, destroying jobs and businesses and devastating towns, tribal communities, and First Nations across the region.
