Join us for "Breaking Barriers, Building Futures: Women Leading NYC," a CityTalk panel in celebration of Women’s History Month 2025. Grounded in this year’s theme, "Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations," this discussion will spotlight the contributions of women leaders in city government who are shaping policies, mentoring the next generation, and driving workforce and community transformation.
Panelists will explore the impact of mentorship, workforce development, and gender equity in public service. Attendees will gain valuable insights into leadership pathways in city government and be inspired by the stories of women who are educating, uplifting, and creating opportunities for future generations. With perspectives spanning multiple agencies, this discussion will highlight the collective efforts of women leaders who are making a lasting impact on the city’s workforce and communities.

The panel will be moderated by DCAS' Executive Deputy Commissioner, Citywide Operations, Beatrice Thuo, with opening remarks by Silvia Montalban, DCAS' Chief Citywide Equity and Inclusion Officer.
