About this Event
DC724, the regional DEF CON local group, will be hosted at Hackers Guild for an evening dedicated to security research, hardware experimentation, and technical conversation.
Expect a mix of talks, tool demos, and open discussion. Topics often range across offensive and defensive security, SDR and radio experimentation, embedded systems, firmware analysis, privacy research, and infrastructure design. Whether you are deeply technical or just getting started, the environment is collaborative and welcoming.
This is not a lecture-only event. It is a working session, a conversation, and a community gathering for people who want to understand systems at a deeper level.
This session at Hackers Guild will include:
- Technical presentations
- Tool demonstrations and research discussion
- SDR and radio crossover conversations
- Hardware and embedded experimentation
- Open floor discussion on current security topics
The tone is technical, curious, and respectful. You do not need to be an expert. You do need to be interested in how systems actually work.
If you have a project, bring it. If you have a question, ask it. If you just want to listen and learn, that is welcome too.
Who Should Attend

- Amateur radio operators exploring SDR and RF security
- Engineers, IT professionals, and infrastructure builders
- Anyone who prefers understanding over abstraction
What to Bring
