*****DC Jazz Jam: Herding "Cats" Since 2009!*****This fall, DC Jazz Jam will be celebrating the 100th birthday of the late Mel Torme, with a series of "crooners." Kicking off the series on Sunday, Sept. 7th is vocalist Jeff Weintraub -- along with a terrific house band of Jack Gruber (keys), Steve Arnold (bass), and Leland Nakamura (drums).
