A hometown celebration of the District’s running community and culture, the DC Half and 5K will take place on the streets of DC in September 2025. The DC Half is presented by your local run shop, Pacers Running, and includes a half marathon and 5K. The DC Half is the best way to race the District.
GETTING TO THE RACE
How do I get to the race?
METRO
The Metro will NOT open early for this event.
The nearest metro station for after the race is Smithsonian Station (Orange, Blue & Silver lines).
PARKING
There is no onsite parking for the DC Half races. Limited street parking is available around and near the National Mall. If you are driving, please plan on allowing ample time to find parking and walk to the start line.
SUGGESTED DROP OFF LOCATIONS
If you plan on being dropped off at the start line, we suggest two locations:
15th Street NW in front of the Washington Monument
Constitution Ave NW & 23rd St NW near the Lincoln Memorial
Please remember you will need to allow for time to walk to the start line.
