In 2025, we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the declaration of Emancipation Day as a District holiday. You don't want to miss this event!
About this Event

The 20th Anniversary Emancipation Day Parade will begin at the cross section of Pennsylvania and 10th Streets NW, and travel to the cross section of Pennsylvania and 14th Streets NW. The 20th Anniversary Emancipation Day Concert will be held at Freedom Plaza and will conclude with a fireworks display.

2:00 pm - 20th Anniversary Parade and Festival
