DBT Distress Tolerance - A Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills group for teens Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based multifaceted treatment approach that helps teens learn new skills to manage their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in a more effective and healthy way. DBT includes cognitive behavior skills training, therapeutic mindfulness meditation, behaviorism and dialectics.
This group’s topic will be a six-week deep dive into the DBT skill of Distress Tolerance.
