Surprise Second Leicester Date Announced !Dayflower's beloved singer Alex (AKA. Stacey Scorsese, Sniglet Sr, The Very Sensitive Chetwin Zinger etc...) will be soon be relocating to his beautiful hometown of Norwich to seek his fortune. So we thought it would be nice to send him off in style! As such we're bringing a truly exceptional lineup of musicians to Duffy's Bar. We're very excited for this and hope you'll come along to get the lad a pint and maybe a hug (or a Twirl). Cos he really is rather splendid.
All proceeds from the night go to Headway UK, the Brain Injury Association charity, in memory of our friend Neil Segrott.

Martha Bean is a rare gem of an artist whose work feels both masterfully crafted and deeply human: a true musical polymath, who pours extraordinary skill and emotional honesty into every note. Each song unfolds like miniature symphony . . .
intricate, lush and deeply felt.
For longtime admirers or those discovering her now, Martha’s return to the live stage is not to be missed.

Peter Wyeth makes music using acoustic guitars, looper pedals and field recordings from note book scribbled scores or whilst staring out of the window. Sometimes both. He doesn’t like writing in the third person but keeps up the charade anyway.
“wonderfully crafted and intricate music that offers pure escapism through an all-round different and more holistic approach to recording” Gold Flake Paint

Emerging duo Dogs Don’t Deal burst out of their studio lair and onto the live stage: the sound of two bratty boys documenting the chaos of contemporary life with sharp humour and zero pretence.
Sheffield native Cobbler's production fuses indie, hip-hop, rock, and pop with restless energy while Mikey V attacks the mic with working-class Leicester grit, tackling masculinity, madness and modern Britain with honesty and wit... less red pill, more Red Bull!
As if all that weren't enough, we also hope to sprinkle in one or two secret special guests.
At the indie disco decks is the ever-reliable, often funky, always punctual DJ Ninja Bob. So let's dance into the night like fearless freaks we are!
This gig is dedicated to our friend Neil Segrott, who sadly passed away earlier this year. Neil played a huge part in the Leicester music scene and his skill and patience helped elevate Dayflower’s early bedroom recordings into something much more polished and expansive. Neil also held Martha’s artistry in particularly high regard and spoke about her work with deep admiration. From someone with such a finely tuned ear that says everything.
In Neil’s memory, all proceeds from this gig will be donated to Headway UK, the brain injury charity that supported him after his fall.
