About this Event
Daydreamers festival is a BIPOC only space for creative embodiment activities (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual) that promotes rest and restoration. Using gentle movement, meditation, sound healing, and more, we will engage in collective dreaming practices to promote wellness and healing. We will also have select workshops using art and herbalism to expand our dreaming capacity! Our offerings combine creative, healing, and somatic practices led by local Black wellness practitioners.
#RestEasyBby is a class for people of color, taught by people of color. This class is infused with the wisdom of Black Femme elders and ancestors, especially of the teachings of the Tricea Hershey (The Nap Bishop) with the intention of allowing for a space for rest and healing to sustain our lives and our liberation.
Extra masks, yoga mats, and props are available! Donations are appreciated, but not required. All donations go to support our teachers and facilitators. If you purchase a donation ticket, you do not need to get a free ticket (or vice versa). There is a $50 ticket option for a super supporters that will include an integration kit that includes a Rest Desk by Tricea Hershey, tinctures, teas and more!
We are apprecitative to Market Center for sponsoring this event.
