A bellydance and a percussion class, and then a live band playing Middle Eastern tunes! Join Nina Amaya, Heather Amos, and the Brinjal band at Charm City Meadworks on a Sunday afternoon!
12:30 Performing to a Live Band Workshop with Nina Amaya, $20 (as a new event we are keeping price low to build community)
1:30 Intro to Doumbek with Heather Amos $15
2:30- 4:30 Live Music Hafla, with canned music an option! $5-$10 suggested donation, to pay the band.
6' vending table $25
Everyone can bring 1-2 items for a swap table - bring a costume or pair of zils you don't want anymore and put a price tag on it. Swap table is not staffed, unless you want to volunteer. The next one will be December 1st and will include a bellydance class and Intro to the riq, Arabic style tambourine.
Attendees- everyone who attends can bring one or two costumes or things to swap; not really organizing that; we will see how it goes, If you have more than TWO ITEMS become a : Vendor.
Vendors- welcome to the revived All Seasons Hafla! A dance event for bellydancers and the general public, now with classes added too! Room for six 6' tables inside! Set up at noon, though they might let us in a few minutes early. We can go til 5, but the event "officially" ends at 4:30, tables $25.
