There’s nothing quite like watching the sunrise over Biscayne Bay from the front lawn of the Deering Estate. Start your morning with a peaceful and awe-inspiring view as the sky comes alive with color.Bring your binoculars or a personal camera, pack a light breakfast or picnic, and don’t forget your chairs or blankets to sit back and relax with family and friends during this early morning outdoor experience.
Picnic tables are available on a first come, first serve basis in the Royal Palm Grove. Guests are encouraged to bring a flashlight or battery-operated lantern for setup before dawn (no flames or candles permitted). While the bay breeze is refreshing, mosquitos may still be present—loose, long-sleeve clothing and insect repellent are recommended.
