Day Trip to the National Memorial Arboretum

We are organising this wonderful trip to the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas, Staffordshire. We visited in October 2025 and it was such a meaningful and inspirational day, that several people asked if we could organise a return visit.
The National Memorial Arboretum is a British site of national remembrance near Lichfield, Staffordshire. Its objective is to honour the fallen, recognise service and sacrifice, and foster pride in the British Armed Forces and civilian community.
The Arboretum welcomes over 300,000 visitors to site each year, including over 20,000 young people for formal and informal learning visits. Visitors can enjoy discovering over 400 memorials nestled amongst some 25,000 trees, experience riverside walks and participate in a wide variety of daily activities: guided walks, land train tours, memorial talks, exhibitions and buggy tours.
Each year around 250 events take place on site, from small intimate services of Remembrance to set piece events like Armistice Day, Remembrance Sunday, a summer proms and Armed Forces Day.
Priced at just £25 for the coach 🚌 (entrance to the Arboretum is free), this is sure to be a very popular day out. Any activities can be booked direct and paid for separately.
Tickets can be reserved by completing a booking form, which can be collected from our Care & Share Shop at 11 High Street or our Church Hall on Impington Lane. Email enquiries can be sent to [email protected].
This trip requires payment by 31st March.
Coach pick ups are available from Longstanton Park & Ride, Rampton & Histon Salvation Army.
Cash payments and cheques made payable to ‘The Salvation Army Histon Corps’ can be made at our Care & Share Shop.
Card payments can be made by arrangement at our Hall.
Hope to hear from you soon. Don’t delay. <>
