We’re going to London!
Lilli and our volunteers will be taking you around some of the key spots in central London. This will be a walking tour so will not be able to go into the various landmarks but it will be a good way to orientate yourself and make note of where you might want to visit in future. We aim to visit London eye, cross Westminster Bridge, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Green Park, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and possibly more - how much we see depends on how many pictures are taken and how tired our legs get!
You will have to buy your own train ticket (about £28 for return) and we recommend bringing your own lunch as there may not be many lunch options at the small cafes that are on the route. Most of the day will be outside so please dress accordingly (check the weather beforehand!)
Please be at the main entrance (by the M&S shop) of Guildford station at 9.30am to give enough time to purchase tickets and take the 9:49am train. **If you would like to join us for the tour and then stay in London, please feel free but let us know on the day**
