📍 Meet at main entrance: Nags Head Woods Preserve (The Nature Conservancy)

🥾 Route (5.25 mi total):
• Blueberry Ridge Loop (3.75 mi) + Roanoke Trail out-and-back (1.5 mi).
🚗 Parking note: Main lot is limited and may fill.
Overflow parking: Nags Head Town Park — 415 Health Center Dr, Nags Head, NC (larger lot). If you park there, please carpool over or meet us at the preserve entrance.
🚻 Restroom: 1 portable toilet available at the trailhead/main parking area.
🎒 Bring water, good shoes, layers, and bug spray.
🐶 No dogs for this route (not all trails on this route are dog-friendly).

🐊 Optional After Lunch Bonus: Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge: If anyone’s up for more exploring after lunch (time + weather dependent), we may head over to Alligator River NWR for a short, easy bonus walk + wildlife viewing.

• Creef Cut Wildlife Trail (0.64 mi) — accessible, great for birding/wildlife.
• Sandy Ridge Wildlife Trail (0.68 mi) — more rustic, with boardwalk sections.
