Ride Out Time: 10:30 AM - Members Only Horses must have a current Coggins test. The footing can be rocky so boots or shoes are recommended.
Cowgirls, let’s hit the trail! Join us for a fun day riding at Morrow Mountain State Park and enjoy beautiful wooded trails and views along the Yadkin River. 🐎🌿 Look for Cowgirl Amy Shamansky to check you in and help plan your ride.
The trails offer two loop options (6 miles or 8.5 miles) and are not too strenuous, but can be rocky, so boots or shoes for your horse are recommended. Current Coggins required.
Important: The trailhead turn is about ¼ mile past the park entrance—look for a hard right onto a gravel road marked Sugarloaf / Bridle Trails. Large parking area for trailers, plus a water spigot and outhouse on site.
Bring snacks and drinks and plan to be tacked up and ready to ride at 10:30 AM.
Cowgirls — please register in the Wild Apricot app so we can keep everyone in the loop with updates!
