Mind, Body & Soul is a nurturing day retreat created for women who are sober or sober-curious and seeking deeper connection, calm and clarity before the busyness of Christmas.Through a blend of mindfulness, movement and sound, this retreat offers space to pause, reflect, and realign with what truly matters. We’ll explore the power of rest, nervous system regulation and intention setting - with gentle, open conversations around sobriety and living more consciously.
Expect a day of slowing down, releasing tension and resetting your energy so you can move into the Christmas season feeling grounded, calm and connected.
Outline of the Day
10:00 – 10:30: Arrival & Opening Circle
Welcome herbal tea and settling-in
Palo Santo energy clearing ritual
Opening meditation and group intention setting
10:30 – 12:00: Warming Yoga Flow
Gentle somatic movement to build inner warmth
Heart-opening and grounding postures
Yin holds for deep release
12:00 – 1:30: Nourishing Lunch Break
Light, grounding meal and time to explore the local market, journal or connect inside the cosy studio
1:30 – 3:00: Nervous System & Rest Workshop
Understanding your stress responses and how to regulate with ease
Guided breathwork and grounding techniques
Reflection and discussion around rest, balance, and navigating the festive season alcohol-free (or with more awareness)
Journaling & intention setting
3:00 – 4:00: Sound Bath for Deep Release
Guided yoga nidra or meditation
Immersive sound journey with crystal bowls, chimes, and healing frequencies
Space for deep rest, release, and reflection
Reflection and sharing
The location for this retreat is Actively Alive, 4-5 West St, Faversham ME13 7JE. Parking is available close to the venue. All mats, eye pillows and blankets provided.
