About this Event
We’re so excited for our upcoming flagship event, the Ann Arbor Asian Night Market! Our event coordinators and lead volunteers have spent the past few weeks and months preparing an amazing evening celebrating Asian culture through food, art, music, activities, and community and now we need your help to make the event happen!
We are currently looking for day of event volunteers to support the Night Market on June 12. With 20+ vendors, performances, activities, and hundreds of attendees expected throughout the evening, there are lots of different ways to get involved and help out during the event.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
• Decorating the venue
• Setting up tables and chairs
• Greeting vendors and assisting with load in, setup, and load out
• Facilitating arts and crafts activities
• Staffing the welcome table
• Helping with line management and keeping the venue clean throughout the night
Volunteer roles will be assigned based on availability, preferences, and event needs. No prior experience is required, and we welcome both first time and returning volunteers!
Volunteering with Marupo ACTS is a great opportunity to meet new people, connect with the local community, gain event experience, and be part of a growing organization focused on culture, creativity, and community building.
