Time to celebrate Day of the Dead also known as Dia de los Muertos. Another year completed. Time to honor those we've lost this year and before. This holiday is a blend of indeginous Mexican and catholic traditions. Originating in Mexico with varying traditions. This holiday is being celebrated increasingly throughout Latin America, the United States and worldwide. Everyone can relate to the desire to remember and connect with lost loved ones, ancestors and people who have touched their lives. Houston is the most culturally diverse city in the United States and has a huge Mexican population. Downtown Houston is well on it's way to becoming the true cultural heart of Houston. We think that downtown is the perfect place to come together for this holiday. If you agree, please let us know by marking interested, going or better yet registering.
