Welcome to a Day of Mindfulness in the Plum Village tradition led by dharma teacher and ex-monk Jem Fredhamn. A Day of Mindfulness is like a one-day retreat, where we practice together more intensively. Anyone is welcome - you don't need a background with the practice or tradition to participate.Schedule (may have minor changes):
- Arriving (9:45)
- Welcome & song (10.00)
- Guided sitting
- Dharma talk & reflection exercise
- Qigong
- Mindful lunch (everyone brings their own vegeterian/vegan lunch box)
- Walking meditation
- Dharma sharing in groups
- Coming together & closing (16.00)
Please bring your own vegeterian/vegan lunch box with you.
We may do some activities outside so please bring appropriate clothes.
Suggested dana (donation): 300 sek
Giving (dana) is an essential Buddhist practice. It is about generosity and openness, our capacity to embrace others with our compassion and love. All the teachings you will receive on our courses are offered freely by the teachers.
