PANEL PARTICIPANTS INCLUDE:
COPA Health
Employment Related Services (ERS) is committed to helping people with disabilities expand their independence by obtaining and maintaining employment. Copa Health achieves this through a variety of training models including career planning, pre-employment training, computer training, document imaging training, community and center based “real” work training, job development and placement.
Daivergent
Daivergent is a Public Benefit Corporation dedicated to the neurodivergent and disability communities. Founded in 2017, Daivergent is the first all-virtual job training program in the world, and serves as the first bridge between 21st-century employers and this high-potential -- but underutilized -- talent population. Our Vision: To enable everybody, regardless of ability, to live a life of purpose and dignity. Our Mission: To equip people with disabilities with the resources they need to maximize their potential, and to empower their champions to join them on their lifelong journey.

The Opportunity Tree
Contracts with the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) to provide employment supports including Center Based Employment, Group Supported Employment and Transition to Employment. We also contract with Vocational Rehabilitation to provide employment supports including Pre Employment Transition Services (for youth transitioning from high school) Job Discovery and Retention and Extended Supported Employment. In addition to the Employment opportunities listed above, The Opportunity Tree is undertaking an organizational transformation project to focus solely on Community Integrated Employment. The Opportunity Tree is an Employment First Agency and believes that all individuals, including those with the most significant disabilities are capable of full participation in Competitive Integrated Employment and community life.

Sonoran UCEDD-AZ Employment First
Employment First is a national initiative that promotes competitive employment in an integrated setting at minimum wage or higher, as this is the preferred outcome for people with disabilities. Arizona would like to champion this initiative by implementing its common vision in this state. Arizona seeks to change and enhance expectations around employment to promote progressive change in the support infrastructure, which will enable people with disabilities to pursue employment opportunities and achieve economic independence. A coalition of Advocates, Educators, Employers, Employment Service Provider Agencies, Family Members, State Agencies, University Centers for Excellence on Developmental Disabilities, Youth and Young Adults are working together to move Arizona to an Employment First state.
