About this Event
Discover art through your lens at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
Join photographer Arturo Carrillo for a free outdoor photography session exploring the museum’s stunning exterior spaces and nearby parks. Learn how to make the most of your camera’s settings while capturing striking architecture, dynamic sculptures, and the vibrant energy of Houston’s cultural district.
You’ll practice techniques for shooting in natural light, framing creative compositions, and balancing detail, color, and depth to bring each scene to life. Whether you’re photographing the museum’s modern design or the greenery that surrounds it, this experience will help you strengthen your outdoor photography skills.
You’ll be provided with a Nikon Z5II or Z50II to use during the session, and you’ll get to keep the beautiful images you capture. Please note, Nikon gear will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Choose the session time that works best for you—and come ready to shoot!
