Saturday at the Elgin Music Festival is when downtown really comes alive.We’re kicking things off in Elgin Memorial Park from 10am–4pm with the Elgin Education Foundation Crawfish Boil, a community celebration full of great food, cold drinks, live music, and a live auction supporting local education. Music will be rolling all afternoon with performances by JustHannah, Broken Alabi, and Latin Dukes, plus plenty more surprises throughout the day.
And that’s just the start.
Stages and pop-up performances will be happening all over downtown Elgin, with music at:
-Millie's On Main with Alicia Adkins, Marcus Morales, Chubby Knuckle Choir and Jam Room Band.
-Firewild with Leti Garza playing during their dinner service.
-Newbo Vintage with Leon de la Cumbia
-Liberty Tree Tavern
-LoFi Coffee Shop & Studio with Future Museums at noon.
-Lightnin' Bar with Maiden
-To The Point Knives with Muchacho and knife makers
Grab a drink from Firewild or the VFW drink stations, explore local vendors around the park, and follow the music through downtown as the day unfolds.
Then as the sun goes down, the Main Stage heats up with powerhouse performances from Hard Proof and the legendary Malford Milligan.
