Join Tamara Lackey for a free, hands-on workshop designed specifically for beginners. Whether you’re picking up a camera for the first time or looking to better understand the basics, this session will walk you through essential camera settings and simple techniques to help you capture meaningful, impactful images.

Set across an inspiring 83-acre animal sanctuary, you’ll photograph at-risk rescue animals while learning how to work with natural light, compose thoughtful shots, and capture authentic moments. With Tamara’s guidance, you’ll focus on building confidence behind the camera while telling compelling visual stories rooted in connection and empathy.

You’ll be provided with a Nikon Z5II or Z50II to use during the session, and you’ll get to keep the meaningful images you create. Please note, Nikon gear will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Choose the session time that works best for you and come ready to shoot!
