About this Event
As the sun rises, a variety of species fill the air with their unique calls, creating a memorable natural experience.
The program begins with a smudging ceremony and lakeside drumming circle led by Eagle Spirits of the Great Waters. Following this, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority will guide a nature walk to listen for signs of spring and introduce participants to tools like iNaturalist and Merlin Bird ID to record and identify bird sightings.
This free program is generously supported by Peel Region and offered in partnership with Eagle Spirits of the Great Waters, who will also provide a light Indigenous-inspired breakfast.
